Thursday, Sept. 6, we drove up to Emerald Isle
where we went to the Aquarium and then to the beach.

We picked up crabs in this tank. All kinds of them.

Jelly fish

In this tank were about 5 skeets (like stingrays but smaller)

They would swim around the tank and you could touch

them. One tried to jump out right in front of Ashley.

They felt really soft and slimmy and are very fast.

An eel 's head is popped up on the right side

of this fish's mouth. Cool!

This huge catfish was in the big tank.

A baby alligator

Oh No! Alligator on the attack.

The waves were crashing onto the beach and it was hard to even stand up with the undertow, but we had a couple hours of fun. When I got done I had sand everywhere including in the hem of my bathing suit. Funny!

Parker got a pink stingray of her own.
