November, 8th, 2008

We have had some absolutely beautiful
warm November days here at the lake and
we have been knocking out the fall projects
one by one. Hopefully we will be ready
when the snow flies.
Connor was here with us on Friday and
really liked the pumpkin turkeys
on the porch. After we got his stomach
settled and he watched a couple of movies
he helped us stack wood, burn branches
and rake leaves for several hours!

We burned branches and leaves until
it got dark.

....roasted marshmallows and made
somemores. What a treat!

When Nicki and Devon arrived with some

pizza, we ate around the fire and had

somemore............some mores!!! Yumm!

Leave it to Devon to find a 4 marshmallow

stick! Then he used them all for his

somemore. Needless to say he didn't

want a second one, but had fun burning

his stick in the fire.

Kristine carved this pumpkin for Dave

and brought it to him on Monday night

since he was in Virginia on Halloween.
