Berry Picking. Here you see the happy faces before we got very far into the berry patch. We didn't realize that........
1. long pants were required
2. long sleeves were required
3. lids with a hole in the top would have been nice (dumping became a ritual)
4. bring babysitter for kids (who spent more time fussing than picking)
The best part about the farm was eating as many berries and cherries as we could while picking and the animals the kids petted before they left. Goats, sheep, a donkey and a horse.

As long as I picked, Parker would put them in her bucket.

Ian up the cherry picking ladder. Sour cherries are the best!

Parker up on a step ladder picking.

Finally Amy took the kids to the car for snacks and drinks while I picked a last bucket full. Blueberry picking will be less scratchy we hope!
