Two days of sunshine after days of rain. The sun feels
heavenly and Ian and I both got a sunburn today.
Pumpkin picking, Family playing and cookie making!
Today Ian and Grandma made cookies. Ian scooped
them out and popped them onto the cookie sheet.
Choco chip, coconut, raison cookies! Yummmmmm!
Last night after building a fort, Ian took all of his puzzles
out of this box, put the vibrating neck message on
and Curt pushed him around. Such a funny kid!
Amy is complying with her Dr's wishes to have complete
bedrest (couch rest in this case) but Ian still wants to
play!!! He brings her lots of books to read and all
his puzzles to put together. Things MaMa can do
with him without having to get up. Grandma takes
him to the playground to play with his new friends katie and Jas.
Last night we drove a short distance to the farmers
market to pick some pumpkins. Ian
found this one in the middle of the patch
and thought it was a great place to rest.
He found a white pumpkin that was just right for him.
At the farm they had a monster truck with huge
wheels. People were paying to take a ride in the
back of this truck thru the muddy fields. When
the truck started up or came back rumbling really
loud, Ian would jump into my arms and stare at it!
The kids and adults came back just covered in mud
and raved about how much fun they had on the ride!
Here is Ian helping me push the wheel barrel.
It didn't take long for him to end up in it, though!
Before we left we bought apples and some squash.
Yummm! We sure had fun picking out our pumpkins.
Now to get them carved!
