Today I flew from Brussels to Milan, Italy. We had a meeting with GE in their Milan office which is pictured below.

Here are a few shots of Milan. This is the largest hospital in town.

This is a pretty typical street. Most people living in a city in Italy live in apartments. Many of the apartment buildings have nice porches for each apartment.

As we headed up into the Alps we quickly passed Lake Como which was just beautiful. I called to see if George Clooney had time to see us, but unfortunately he wasn't in town.

This is the town next to the Lake.

As we got higher in the mountains we passed these ruins which I'll show you again from high above.

Now you can look down the valley at the ruins, followed by a close up.

We continued through Switzerland and then through a short piece of Austria before we arrived in Germany. Our destination was the town of Ulm in southern Germany. I believe the church in the background was built in 200AD.

This is our hotel for the night.

This is the picture as I turned 180 degrees opposite from the hotel. The Danube is flowing fast and muddy compared to normal.

Here is the hotel from the other side of the Danube.

We had a great German dinner at a local favorite which was in this house.
