Wed. night we went to dinner at a wonderful little Tai place that Mary recommended. It was great to catch up with Dr. BobBrunken and wife, Molly and Mary (Brunken) Gill. Bob told stories about Marc and living next to the Clays that I had never heard before! Marc was apparently like the "Dennis the Menace" of the neighborhood! How funny is that! And.....he hasn't changed all that much! Ha!

Mary got to know Cami and Mike that night and then came over to their house Thursday night, too, to see Susan and say goodbye before we left town. How wonderful to reconnect with old friends who to Marc and Susan were like family!

It was great to see the three of them together. They were like 3 peas in a pod. It was nice to see Mary with her Dad.

Bob told us how shocked they were when they heard Marc was getting married at 17, but that he was proud of us for staying together all these 39 years. We did beat the odds, didn't we!!!
