On Sunday my best friend and sweetheart turned (double nickles) as he puts it and he was surprised none of the kids were coming over to help him celebrate, but I made him a pecan desert to ease the pain. What he didn't know was that I had planned a family party for him Monday night and more than just the kids were coming. My mom was in town also, so that was good timing on her part!
