Living in the country.... you already read about "The Birds" on Saturday and how we awoke to scratching on the roof and found Turkey Vultures pecking and walking up there. On Sunday we were having a nice dinner on our deck with Kristine, Dave, and two of our former missionaries, Steve and Nick who are visiting, when these two little raccoons strolled onto our lower deck to say hello. We figured mama wasn't far behind so I quickly took some pictures. They strolled back off and we didn't know where they had gone until.............
They reappeared down on the dock!
Where was mom?
Shadow went balistic when he realized the coons were down there and scared them off the dock...........and
...under the boat.

first off, no matter how old i get i don't think i'll ever stop calling you mama clay... so, mama clay, i have to tell you that i love the picture of you and papa clay on the top of your blog! it just reminds me of all the fun laughs i ever had with either one of you! hope youre enjoying the summer!

I like the little raccoons. They are my favorite. I want to play with them at the lake. Are they living with shadow? I hope they are safe after falling into the water.
